The University of Wisconsin-欧克莱尔's art minor will introduce you to all things art — from the creative process to visual thinking. Rooted in experiential learning, you'll explore topics in theory, ethics and practices of traditional and contemporary art. Areas of study are up to you and include drawing, 版画, 雕塑, 平面设计, 陶瓷, photography and painting.

We also offer outside-the-classroom opportunities to hone your skills and develop your artistic expression. Experience field studies, internships and workshops. The department also regularly features visiting artists, allowing you to learn new techniques and best practices. 

An art minor adds value to any major but is most often paired with journalism, 英语, history and cultural studies. 

A minor in art from UW-Eau克莱尔 will encourage you to create unique solutions to artistic and intellectual problems. Curriculum requirements include three foundational art courses and 15 elective credits completely chosen by you.
